Responsibility disclaimer
Our programs include outdoor activities which may involve some level of risk, depending on circumstances over which Hualamo has no control. Hualamo cannot therefore, be liable for death, personal injury or any other loss that may occur either due to any act or omission by us or any of our suppliers, or by any other event over which there is no control.
All trips are subject to change without notice, depending on acts of God and weather conditions. Hualamo reserves the right to provide travellers with an alternative activity if conditions are not appropriate. Hualamo also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to modify the itinerary as it seems necessary or desirable, and to pass on to tour members any expenses or losses caused by events beyond its control.
Confirmation or payment of the tour constitutes your acceptance of the conditions contained above.
Reservations, cancellations and refunds
We encourage our clients to make their inquiries and reservations directly by Email (see Inquiries and Reservations). To reserve a trip we require a deposit of 50% of the tour fee. At this time you will receive your invoice and pre-tour documentation. The remainder of the trip fee must be paid 90 days before the trip begins. If your reservation is made within 90 days of departure, the entire fee must be paid at the time of the reservation. Notice of cancellation can only be accepted in writing (also by Email). In such event, refunds will be made as follows:
- Cancellation 60 days or more prior to departure will be subject to a 100-USD per person cancellation fee.
- Cancellation between 59 and 31 days, only 50% of the program fee will be refunded.
- Between 30 days and departure date, no refund will be made.
- There will be no refunds for missed days on tours or itinerary changes (see responsibility disclaimer).
Arrival procedures
Passengers with Australian, Canadian, American and Mexican passports should pay a reciprocity tax (in cash) before approaching International Police as follows: Australia (Australia USD 30), Canada (USD 55), United States (USD 100), Mexico (USD 15). No immunizations or health precautions are required to travel to Chile. During your stay in Chile we strongly suggest you to consume only bottled water as regular drinking water can cause unpleasant lower intestinal distress!
