Birding in Chile with a network of regional specialists

Alto Andino, Hualamo, and Natura Patagonia have joined together and established a network of specialists with a common philosophy: skilled and experienced professionals guiding you through their own regions, where they have been living and birding for years. We seek in this way to provide you a high-quality trip and increase the chances to observe the maximum number of birds and habitats throughout this narrow strip of land on the western side of South America. Our specialists have a thorough knowledge of natural history and your tour will be a true learning experience.

Our programs will allow you to visit the most representative environments from the highlands of Andean Altiplano, Atacama Desert and rich waters of the Humboldt Current to the central Andes, temperate rain forests, Lake District, grasslands, steppes and glacial fjords of Patagonia.

Our routes are flexible; choose to see birds of the length of Chile, or concentrate in one or more areas. Tours normally include ground transportation, all meals, and overnight accommodations. Check with us for personalized itineraries to concentrate on the birds you most want to find.  For independent birders not interested in a full tour, we will be happy to arrange bird guide service.
